Lovely South African restaurant in Falmouth located along the high street just past the Harbour. Recommend that you book the night before as all the tables were fully booked on trying for a table previously. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The decor was obviously South African theme. The food however was awesome. Having a partner who is South African and coming to these places with amazing Food especially the Meat. Absolutely amazing. Highly recommended

Enjoyed a excellent meal this afternoon, lovely staff, nothing too much trouble, explained the dishes to us. I had the sea food platter. This was a exceptional dish a absolute delight, the calamari was best i can remember, and the lemon sole cooked to perfection. Sharon had the steak and bob had the bobotie, which they both really enjoyed. Definitely a memorable meal for us , so thankyou very much

Wow wow wow! Not sure where to even start with Amanzis but out of all of the restaurants I’ve ever been to Amanzi is THE BEST RESTAURANT I’ve ever experienced and that’s not an exaggeration. I was a student in the area and it was my go to spot for everything. Dates, my graduation meal, celebrations with friends. I even made sure to visit the restaurant on my very last day before I left Falmouth. The Espatada is well seasoned, juicy, delicious and comes with generous serving of garlic butter that enhances the flavours of the skewered meat and veg. Then the chips that come with them are crispy and fluffy. The burgers and cocktails were great too. The restaurant also has a nice atmosphere and really nice view if you sit outside. But if you decide to sit inside the decor has an impressive swagger about it. Would definitely recommend if you’re visiting the area or just live near by. Thank you so much to Amanzi and the staff for the great service and food each time I came by. Only problem was that I discovered it 5 months before I left Falmouth. Would give more stars if I could. 5/5!!

This was a great find during our stay in Falmouth. Our waitress was very informative on the various dishes that was on the menu and I was really pleased that she encouraged me to try something a little different. The food and service all round was amazing. Would highly recommend paying this lovely little place a visit.

I had dinner here last night and it was REMARKABLY good. My friend, who is South African and lives locally, said it was a must while I am visiting. I had the skewer with beef and vegetables topped with the best garlic butter that drips down...honestly, the beef was so tender and had a lovely spice rub. My friend had the huge prawns in a garlic sauce. She made moaning sounds throughout the meal! The Malva pudding is basically the best sticky toffee pudding you've ever tasted - and the Koeksisters...I mean can't be bad! The sorbet it came with was incredible. Special shout out to the chips...THE CHIPS. I can be pretty 'meh' about chips. But these were incredible. Amanzi, if you can reply to this review to say what you do to make your chips like that? I will love you forever.

The only truly authentic food outside of South Africa. We are well travelled foodies who have spent time in Joburg,Neilspruit and Cape town and this is the best S/A food we have ever found. Excellent Bobotie and Ostrich kebab, proper sweet and savoury found that is true to S/A. Excellent cocktails and good value for excellent food. We got Biltong to take away and that also is excellent. Only shame was that we couldnt fit in a slice of Milk Tart but we decided to save that for the next trip.:) Well done the team at Amanzi
